The 10-Interview Validation Sprint

A one-week plan to validate a product idea with 10 customer interviews, from recruiting to a clear go / no-go decision by Friday.

Day 0: Name the risky assumption

Write one sentence: the belief that has to be true for this idea to work. It might be "shift workers regularly skip meals because prepping is too much effort." Everything this week exists to confirm or kill that sentence.

Days 1–2: Recruit ten of the right people

Define the segment in one line and post a short opt-in form wherever those people already gather: a subreddit, a Slack group, a newsletter. Aim for ten confirmed conversations. Recruiting is usually the slowest step; a shareable opt-in link keeps it light, so people pick their own time, and Waarp handles every call from there.

Days 3–5: Run the interviews

Keep each call to 20 minutes and hold Mom-Test discipline: past behavior, no pitching, no leading. Record everything so you can listen for what you missed. Three or four focused interviews a day is a comfortable pace.

Day 6: Synthesize into a verdict

Lay every interview side by side and look for repetition: the same workaround, the same complaint, the same spend. Sort what you heard into strong signal, mixed signal, and dead ends. Note where people were already paying to solve the problem.

Day 7: Decide

Make the call the sprint was for. Build if the problem is real and urgent for your segment. Pivot if a different, sharper problem kept surfacing. Drop if people simply do not care. A clear "no" in a week is a win. It just saved you months.

Skip the scheduling. Run these interviews for real.

Share one opt-in link and Waarp calls and interviews your customers autonomously, then hands you the verdict. Every call outbound, every call on the method above.
